UK Legislation
This website is wholly owned and managed by Miniatures In Wood. It is
governed by UK law and aims to meet the requirements laid down by the
Distance Selling Directives and the British Code of Advertising and Sales
Promotion.
Registration/use
of shop
You must be over 18 to purchase from the on-line shop. All details supplied
must be correct and complete to the best of your knowledge. If you do
not wish to accept the Terms and Conditions you should discontinue your
use of the site. Miniatures In Wood reserves the right to refuse to process
a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at
our sole discretion.
Disclaimer
We use all reasonable endeavours to ensure all details recorded on this
website are accurate, however we make no warranties, whether express or
implied in relation to its accuracy. The website is subject to change
from time to time. We will not be held responsible for any claim or compensation
should any details on this website appear inaccurate, however we always
aim to supply an outstanding service and will endeavour to resolve any
dispute to the best of our ability.

All of the information that you give us via the website is handled with
the utmost respect and confidentiality.
PURCHASE OF GOODS
Payments
At present we only accept cheques, these must be made payable to A Manning.
Goods will only be despatched once payment has been received.
Delivery and Fulfilment
Once you have ordered a product from us, we aim to deliver it within 7
working days from the date of purchase. If, due to unforeseen circumstances,
we cannot deliver within 7 working days we will try to contact you to
let you know. Method of delivery will vary dependent on the cost of goods
purchased, but will always require a signature on delivery. If you are
not at home when we deliver, a non-delivery card will be posted through
your letterbox, which advises that we tried to deliver. You will then
be required to call the number specified to arrange an alternative date
for delivery. Please note that due to security reasons we cannot deliver
products to any address other than the one given at the time of ordering.
Delivery Restrictions
Due to the weight of our products they will only be delivered to a UK
address at the price quoted. For overseas orders please contact us so
that we can investigate the possibility of delivery to your country, and
to inform you of the delivery charge costs.
Returns Policy
You have a right to cancel this contract and return the goods within 7
days of receipt. If you wish to do so, you must provide proof of purchase
and return the goods in perfect condition and in the original packaging.

office is available 9am until 5pm Mon - Fri. For security purposes we
will request that the goods be returned via recorded delivery (at the
expense of you, the customer). The goods are considered your property
until we have given legal recognition of their return. You must notify
us if you believe that you have received damaged, faulty or incomplete
goods. We will then contact you to arrange a replacement or solution.
We require proof of payment to process refunds, therefore please ensure
you keep any receipts.
Order Acceptance
and Processing
After you have successfully placed an order with us, you will receive
an acknowledgement by e-mail of the order you have placed. For security
purposes, we cannot deliver the goods to any other address than that supplied
when you placed your order. We do reserve the right to refuse any order
or part thereof at anytime, either prior to or after sending you our e-mail
confirmation. Subject to any rights granted to you under applicable consumer
law, we accept no liability for any failure to ship products where this
results from our inability to do so or our decision on reasonable grounds
not to do so, provided that we take all reasonable steps to notify you
within 28 days of placing the order that the goods will not be shipped
as ordered. In such cases we will not process any payment or will immediately
refund any payment made, in full. It is your responsibility to ensure
that you order from us with sufficient lead-time to prevent any loss or
disappointment resulting from such non-shipment. Your statutory rights
are unaffected.

Personal Data
The obligations that are set out under the 1998 Data Protection Act tie
us to certain legal criteria that we as a partnership take very seriously.
If you contact a supplier through our website or independently they may

guidelines to the ones set out here. You are entitled to see any personal
information we hold about you and to amend or change it if incorrect.
Under the Data Protection Act we can charge up to a £10 administration
fee. We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information and endeavour
to treat it with the utmost confidentiality. We may track the use of the
site with regards to traffic, sales pattern and trends etc, however no
personal information will be included. The only circumstances in which
personal details will be disclosed are when i) required to do so by law

personal details will be used to process the payment of the goods. We
always ask for a telephone number so in the unlikely event that a problem
should arise we can inform you immediately and arrange to take the appropriate

We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (otherwise
known as "spam").

We do not currently employ the use of cookies on this website.
